RE Passion of the Christ: "At the end of hours of suffering there appeared, for only a bare moment, a gleam of light suggesting... something. It did not last long enough or shine brightly enough to counteract or overcome what we had just experienced. It amounted to a slight nod at the power of life over death a kind of ephemeral 'resurrection lite.'" ...I recommend instead a full-strength resurrection point of view.
