So far this book is amazing. I absolutely love Fanny and her family. I am really enjoying getting to know her and I feel like if she were alive today we would be good friends. There is such great detail from her diary and details about her personality, thoughts and details about her family, details about individual members of the military, The Lincoln family. I just really really love this book. I truly admire Fanny
