In the second half, things started to gel. Think isn't sex-heavy and we don't get to see the true depths of caring between Aidan and Liam until close to the end. However, I like them enjoy to read on in the series, if there are/will be more.

Thankfully, this picked up some here in the second half. However, it still feels like I haven't gotten enough of Aidan and Liam, either about what's between them or in relation to the story.

It's taken nearly half of the book but we're finally getting to a meaty story.

For once, the detail is welcome: Aidan is going through and working on Ishak and Havva's family tree. Genealogy is very interesting to me.

I understand that characters are imperfect and can be narrow minded despite their own life and experiences - Liam is definitely all of this. O_o

Liam seems to think that Aiden is the one with issues but I think it's Liam.

Sooooo, the last few pages have been about packing for a trip (with tips for wrinkle-free clothes), a seamstress for a torn leather vest and jogging outfits. Huh.

This is a decent contemporary so far. From Paris to Istanbul...

Well, hellooooo Aidan and Liam. That started out hot.
