This battle is going on for ages....to the point where I'm becoming so frustrated and irritated by the writing style and being spoonfed every character's thoughts that I am really struggling to care who wins.

What I am finding increasingly irritating about this series is the way the reader is constantly taken into each character's thoughts. It's jarring and not at all subtle. I dislike being spoonfed everything. As a result, I am finding it very easy to be distracted by other things.
