So basically three Diablo members were shot and gunned in the street, all of which died. I have a new idea. What i think the title of the book means now is that Rise is not like how he used to be, it's like his old self died.

There was a shooting on 144 street and for some unknown reason, Jesse is about to get questioned by the police for doing nothing. I honestly believe that Jesse is about to get locked up even though there is no hard core evidence he had anything to do with the shooting. I think that because he is an area with a lot of gangs and violence, so when a black man is accused he will almost definitely get locked up.

The Diablos and the Counts are to have a nice little meating with absolutely no guns and weapons at all :). Of course im joking, and I now have a prediction. I predict that Rise will die based off of the name of this book, which is Autobiography of My Dead Brother. I think this because Rise and Jesse became blood brothers by them taking bleeding wounds on eachother, and touching each other with the wounds.

So Jesse's dad got so filled of fear and anger he hit Jonas in the eye, bruising him badly. Which in turn reminded me of a conflict with my father. And no he didn't hit me. So basically he got super upset at me when he realised I went on a bike ride much further than I was supposed to, he was so angry we was boiling hot red. But then he went to the bathroom to calm himself so he could calmly tell me why I shouldn't.

A bunch of cops arrested Jesse and his friends thinking they were responsible for the death of a teen in a gang, they were wrong however and let them go. It reminded me of a time when I had a bag of crunched up crackers in my room, however my mother thought it was the good stuff and was incredibly mad. It took me hours to convince her it was just cracker crumbs.

Apparently a conflict has now started between Rise and Jesse, they are in a group called the Counts and have been invited to a drug deal. Rise is up for it however Jesse believes it is not a good idea. It was interesting what Rise was saying about why it should be done, especially the whole train in the snow talk.

My prediction that Jesse would get blamed for what happened at the bodega turned out to be true, or I at least think. I have another prediction though, I feel like Jesse is a really good kid who just wants to be an artist, but I have a feeling that Mason is going to drag hi into becoming a gangster, which Jesse of course doesn't want.

Quite a bit of characters have been introduced now, and, I now have a prediction. I predict that Mason is going to shoot up the bodega, but somehow Jesse and his friends will get blamed for it. I say this because i've seen it happen too many times inside of different books similar to this one.

This book started out better than I thought it would. I also really enjoy how they present all the characters and who they are, rather than just throw out some names and give a tiny bit a backstory on them later. But so far I am intrigued and want to read the book further.
