I’m 2 hours into this audiobook and it is absolutely terrifying. How is this appropriate for the middle grades? The Earth is going to be destroyed, the narrator’s immediate family escapes on a ship as it is being overrun by a desperate mob. She then spends a long period of time paralyzed when she supposed to be sedated… please don’t just hand this to your nine year old because it won an award!
