February Goals Update:
1. I read and HEAVILY annotated Emma on my birthday weekend and it was better than I remembered. To top it off, I watched the movie (Gwyneth’s version of course). I’m looking forward to doing it again next year.
2. Again, hard to quantify, but I’ve made time for other activities this month.
3. I reviewed The Maid by Nita Pride and The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis. Plus Emma, as a treat.

5. Sisters in Arms by Kaia Alderson was a fun return to the WWII women in action genre I was very into last year.
6. The Curse of Beauty by James Bone- I was inspired to read this by The Magnolia Palace and I very much enjoyed this portrait of a complicated, mostly forgotten, woman.
7. An Elderly Lady is up to No Good by Helene Thursten- this one was translated from Swedish and pretty fun.
