Well, I'm quite liking this. A corporate owned dystopic ad-driven virtual world seems less SF than an alternate history.

Especially well done so far - the way other folks using a technology pressures you to use that technology even when it isn't something you want or need.
Also, I like these characters - they seem decently round even if Eileen kind of seems like the mom from "Requiem for a Dream".
