Both the Dashwoods have now had their marriage plans smashed into pieces while overactive aunts (or somesuch) keep fussing around and expecting every other guy (now mr. Brandon) to take the next place in queue.
Weird stuff.

Chapter 26, to Town

The nervous gentleman from the beginning visited the main characters and mostly complained about the area they lived in. Until he took some walks and suddendly found the place pleasing.

And then he left. Against his will and with no good reason.

Edward spent a chapter being baffled and telling how he has no ambitions.

As I was reading this on the Kindle as a part of a lump of Austens, I have no idea how few or many pages I read. All I can say I got to Chapter 16.

Those people were strange.
