i’m so curious of ur thoughts on this

some parts are good. i think there’s something to be said for following your gut regardless of the expectations put on you. and I could see this really reaching some folks who relate to the author. but some parts are unbelievably cringy and self righteous. like, I don’t think your daughter who you said never played competitive soccer up until 4 weeks before “elite travel team” tryouts ended up making the team because of her great attitude, it was probably because your wife is Abby wambach, an extremely well known professional soccer player. i think the author knows her audience well and is writing for them, I just don’t think I’m part of that audience
