There was a plot twist at the end of this volume and a cliffhanger ending, which involved Akio being godawful. 😑🙄 The only good thing about his crappy behavior is that I'm on the edge of my seat wrt how the next volume will begin; I'm in suspense.

I *ADORED* it when Utena told Anthy, 'You look so regal here. More than noble. Like a goddess divine.' And she looked at Anthy tenderly. That. Was. So. Sapphic. 😍😭 I'm ecstatic and I have all of the Utena/Anthy feelings!!! 😊🎊🎊

Akio's language when he talked about Anthy and Utena in his dialogue was despicably dehumanizing. 😑😡 I hope he ends up being physically maimed or killed either by a member of the Student Council or Utena. 😇 *evil laughter*

I *LOVED* how Utena called Anthy 'my sweet Anthy' while she apologized to her and embraced her. 😍 I want MOAAR Utena/Anthy love!! PLZKTHNXBYE!!! ❤❤

I HAAATE Akio. So . Fucking. Much!! 😠 And I don't believe that Saionji had romantic feelings for Anthy. Nope. No fucking way. 🙄😡

Most of the male characters in this series are complete garbage. 🤮

It was heartwrenching AF when Utena pounded her fists against a particular character's glass coffin. 😭

Utena and Anthy finally kissed, but the affection resulted from a cruddy situation, no thanks to Akio and his whacked out "consummation ceremony".

It was cute that Utena felt weak when she and Anthy kissed, but the circumstances sucked as I already mentioned. 😕☹️

I love Utena, but I dislike how naive she's being rn. She and Anthy are completely wrapped around Akio's finger, which infuriates me. 😤

I'm glad that she referred to Akio as 'bad' and 'rotten' during her talk with Touga, but she still thinks she's in love with him (Akio). 😑🤢

Touga is still being detestable. Big surprise there. 🙄😤

Touga didn't lie to or manipulate Utena this time. 😮 He told her the truth about how Akio wanted to use her as well as Anthy. 😔☹️ I still feel iffy about Touga overall.

I don't trust Akio's kind treatment of Utena at all. 😠 And she thinks that she loves him. 🙄 Oy fucking vey! 😑
