I also adored how Utena and Anthy held hands in the final panel of the bonus story. 💯 ❤❤

I liked this volume, but I had mixed feelings about the end of the story; I honestly didn't enjoy this volume as much as the previous ones. It pains me to rate this volume three stars (😥), but that's my honest opinion.

The bonus story about Mikage and Mamiya was alright, but it felt too generic.

I loved how Utena countered the know-it-all Mikage when he said that he could tell her all of Anthy's secrets. She told him that Anthy could keep her secrets, which was great since Utena wanted to respect Anthy's privacy. 😍

I like how Ruka pushed Juri to be the best that she could be at fencing. 🙂

I couldn't tell if he (meaning Ruka) was flirting with/putting moves on Utena when he taught her a specific fencing move. I suppose that doesn't really matter tbh.

That bonus chapter was pretty damn dramatic. I'm not sure what to think about the ship tease and the relationship between Juri and Ruka. She had obvious romantic feelings for him, but Juri's feelings weren't reciprocated; I prefer reading about them as friends. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The reviewer who claimed that Juri was 'het-washed' clearly doesn't understand that bisexuality exists.

The ending was sad AF and a mindscrew tbh. 😭😫 Did Anthy become the new Utena in a way?!?! And Anthy donned an outfit that looked pretty similar to Utena's usual attire. I'm really confused. 😶

I loved the very WLW illustrations of Utena and Anthy in the last few panels. Those were very cute! 😊❤️

I read a few plot twists as well.

I love Utena's determination to save Anthy and to be her prince!! 😍❤️ It was amazing how she told Akio to shut up when he told her that she wouldn't beat him in a duel. I wish I could come up with comebacks that were half as good in the situations when it's necessary in my life. 😑 ☹️ 😶

Utena, MY QUEEN!! 😍 She's a force to be reckoned with. ❤️

Everything that I just read was extremely heart-wrenching and dramatic. I'm surprised that I'm not crying because I feel forlorn. 😭😞

I'm glad that I read another sapphic scene between Anthy and Utena, but UUUUGH there was so much angst!! It's clear that Utena adores Anthy and would do anything for her. 😭❤️
