Struggletown. Constant info-dump style descriptions of Aboriginal culture, explanations of culture built into 'conversation', but it feels like more for the sake of the cultural explanation than the conversation. So much stereotype. The romance - the only thing keeping me going - is in tidbits, not explored. I'll finish it, but unlikely I'll read any more by Dutton. Feels like a cultural text book rather than a novel
