I'm DNF'ing it for now.
It's not because it's bad. One thing that makes my teeth itch is religious zealotry and one of the two main POV's is as big a religious zealot as they come in fiction. I just find reading his perspective grossly unpleasant and irritating, and seeing as he takes up 50% of the book... well, I see not reason to torture myself.
