Mouth to mouth resuscitation/rescue breathing is not generally enough to save someone from an anaphylactic reaction, especially if airway swells up,..... so incredibly severe suspension of belief here....

I would be more likely to believe his subconscious saved him by burning the bee up when it came near him, or he somehow burned the poison out.
