This is great. Ivan the Terrible was really terribly. Russian history reads like a horror novel.

I can thank Road of Bones for leading me to learn some Russian history. I'd never seen the Kremlin in Moscow or The Winter Palace in St. Petersburg. Check them out on Wikipedia. I was stunned. While the leaders lived large, in 1918 a million people starved during the Siege of Leningrad and another million died from 1932-1953 building the Kolyma Highway in Siberia. Those people didn't even get graves. Sickening.
