This book is truly meant to be read in short pieces with meditative pauses between to allow the reader to settle with and reflect on what they have just read; to ponder all the depth and breadth in both philosophical and personal ways.

Short reflections, book chosen for a reading group by a new mother. It's been awhile for me, but it works still, to take a moment, here and there in a busy day that does not belong exclusively to me and which typically cannot yield up a solid uninterrupted hour.
