Although I can’t relate to most of the poems because I am non-binary and the persona of the poem is a cis female, the imagery Chingbee uses in her poems really does paint a vivid picture.

My favorite poem so far is “Send me to the moon”; I have yet to revisit some poems like “Multiple choice” and “Address to the body in the room”.

So far, this collection is a good read (ha ha).
