Louies family are extremly worried and have been trying to send him letter and for christmas they had there first christmas without Louie and everyone opened there gifts and there were a chunk of gifts unopened because Louie is still suffering in Japan.

Louie made a secret diary nobody knew about with rice paste pressed onto pieces of paper and hit it behind a board in his cell and Louie would get nervous when they check his cell. Because he knew he would die if they found the secret diary.

Its wasnt really much about louie but about harrison, Harrison is a new character we got introduced to and he has a insane amount of memory he was pretend reading like he was reading a whole book and the book was from a college class. it could be a good thing or a bad thing because now hes definitly not going to forget about Omahu POW camp.

Louie gets tortued by the bird becuase he gives him a weird look. for a long time.

Louie was sent to a "POW Camp" but in reality it was a interrogation camp called Ofuna Where captives are held in solitary confinement, starved, and tortured.

Louie and Phil met this really nice gaurd he would give them candy and have nice conversations with them about sports, he was a fan of Louie. Louie and Phil were suposed to be executed on August 24 but instead were moved to a POW camp. POW stands for prisonor of war. They will later find out why they were instead moved to a POW camp.

Louie and Phil we caught in a typhoon they tried to go to sleep but they thought they would fall out of the raft if they fell. When the storm went away they started seeing islands. A lot of them. They soon be captured by the Japanese.

Mac died. Its a good and a sad thing. Louie and Phil get more food, but loose a friend. One day Louie and Phil woke up the water was crystal clear when a fish splashed the water they can hear the sound so clearly. Louie said it was like they were on a surface of a marble. Me thinking about where they were at makes me feel nice.

The bomber shot at them 4 times not a single bullet hit them. the raft was deflating fast tho so they had to repair it as fast as possible. Or else they would die

Louie and the others were getting more and more food but not a whole lot. What they needed badly was water.
They saw a bomber plane and shot two flares, threw sea dye, and used a mirror to reflect the sun. The plane was leaving out of sight then it came back but it was a japanese plane so it hot at them.
