just go for it tbh !! maybe write a small note and put it somewhere like in his lunch box when ur dad goes to work ur dad would see orrr write a letter and give it to ur dad before u go to school/uni or anything like that

ask to go spend time with him, like dinner or something! as long as u know he will be supportive, its a really fun moment if u do it in person (if ur comfortable with that). then u can explain to him why u would rather not have ur mom know
^ I am witb @samantha having a one on one time with your dad is best. A picnic, lunch, even sitting at the park. After, you kindly ask him not to tell your mom because you want to be the person she hears it from. You got my support, keep us update :)))
