It's so cringey, guys. The dialogue is insanely bad. The protagonist's attitude is annoying. And, like I said, the timeline is unrealistic. It's been literally three days, and the characters are all behaving like it has been more with the way they interact and think about each other and the situations. Just bad writing all around 😂 But I am curious to see how the ghost hauntings end up.

Once again, timing doesn't make sense. I'm certainly no expert, and I wouldn't even know how to find an answer to this, but I don't believe that someone could drag a girl into the woods, carve her heart out, and escape in ten minutes. Yet, that is what we seem to be asked to believe here, because "ten minutes" was used as the frame of reference for calling the cops, and we aren't led to believe much more time passed

The dad, the dog, and Nona Amador are the only likeable characters.

None of the characters are believable. The dialogue is bad; they pretty much all sound like the same person. And the timeline also doesn't seem well thought out.

But, it goes very quickly! And it has been on my shelf a long time, so I'm going to finish it.

Was not expecting this to be a Snow White retelling, based on its description
