Very comprehensive and well researched overview of a towering presence in Ulster Loyalism who tragically left the stage too soon.

One thing I felt the book could have delved a bit deeper into was what exact ideological changes Ervine underwent (esp. during his time with figures like Spence) and what Ervine's long term constitutional vision was for Northern Ireland.
