The first 15 chapters are a hard but powerful read. Richard’s life was a remarkably hard one through all the poverty and racism. But it has to be told, because then you understand WHY the 78 page plan for his daughters came to pass. He was so INTENTIONAL about creating a rewarding life for his girls, because he knows what the other side looks like.
