The heroine is referencing her past girlfriend. That's interesting. I'm wondering how she identifies. If she's attracted to men at all or not and how the author works that out with the fae.

Now I'm wondering if any ff fae romances exist.

I'm wondering if the tattoo symbol on her arm has some hidden meaning she's subconsciously attracted too. Kind of like that symbol Starbuck painted in BSG. I like that kind of thing, I think it's cooler than freckles having some symbolic meaning.
