It's hard to articulate how I feel about this book. It is so different. I think I like it better as it goes along. I'm savouring the 100% fresh setting: Pune, India *by* an Indian. Not a westerner visiting. The mystery's very format is turned around too: the novel isn't devoted to constructing one. Imagine on-going short stories, in order; told in novel format. Manjiri reinvented the wheel!

If that helper, "Jatin" doesn't stop uttering the title "Boss", I'm going to puke. Other than him, I am enjoying this very different flavour with a wholly transformed blueprint of fiction-writing.
