Sense of History
Sense of History added a status update
Just wrote my 300th review. That might seem limited, but looking back at the first ones I wrote, 8 years ago, I can see the impressive evolution my knowledge of, and my view on history has made. The basic features (an interest in the human condition, a fascination for the broader picture, and an obsession to know the possibilities and limitations of real knowledge of the past) only have been deepened! Thanks GR!

Jill H. I absolutely agree with your comments and would only add a special thanks to some of my GR friends who recommended books that widened my horizons.

Robert Jeens I agree with you. Writing reviews is something that we can do to get feedback from others but it is primarily a voyage for knowledge, self-discovery, and the ability to express oneself.

Indeed, writing the reviews forced me to look back on what I read, and in formulating precise opinions helped me to get a better picture of my on view on aspects of history and historiography. And, of course, also the feedback from followers and friends, were a great contribution. Thanks for passing by!
