Now a little over 20% into my re-read (after two decades!). Thought I would try listening to the story this time around so I burnt an audio credit on it. However, after three chapters, I gave up on the audio. O'Brian's stories reward close reading, and in my not so humble opinion, text works better.
Anyway, enjoying the re-read.
