been making painstaking progress on reading this book due to things unrelated to this book like my RL being completely unearthed and chaotic which has been difficult. i find the stories so far comforting, there are some that i absolutely love, i even appreciate the ones i don't really like.
can't wait to be in a place (mentally *and* physically) where i can just read a bunch of the books in this series back to back

I'm loving this book so much so far. Thanks to someone I follow who reminded me that Marion Zimmer Bradley exists. I would likely have finished it in 1 day but I haven't had any time to read the past few days & likely won't until after the weekend. I really hope the rest of the stories are as good. It's such a relief to find a book I'm excited about reading. And I love this old cover art and this old book smell...
