I think this sort of hostage situations are becoming something of a pet peeve of mine. You should know you can't trust them, yet every hero always does.
At least it led to some good action and a couple character moments.

Some meetings here. Arthur and Modred went down fine, with some good chemistry, but Gwen and Morgan I could not buy at all. Too much telling, too little showing, and the dialogue felt forced.

I feel like that's a common problem -- we think of these characters as "good," therefore they have to agree with US. It can't be that they're products of their time & place, nor that THEY are correct -- no, they have to either already agree with us or be "shown the light" by us.
