I hated to put Come Closer by Gran on the back-burner suddenly, but I seem instead to be fated to get to John Blackburn. The only other bookworm at work, her passion being Horror, asked me today if I had heard of Blackburn, because she had gone nuts for Bury Him Darkly. I don’t have that one, but I did acquire Children of the Night a few weeks ago, and it’s just odd she brought up this author so soon after!
