Suffice to say that this biography is rather poorly written. However, it is written by Vali's partner of 30 years, and it is more of a fragmented medititaion on Vali and her life, flashes of the authors own memories and stories told to him by Vali...quite often composed of very disjointed and brief paragraphs...yet nonetheless feels realistic. As thought you are sitting in room with Gianni, watching him remember.
