Mary irritates the ever loving crap out of me, and Lady Russell is a snob, but I adore Captain Bennick's awkward friendliness and the sisters Henriette and Louisa, and Anne's got a great character voice.

Sir Walter obsesses over the beauty of other men quite a lot (and women too, to be fair). But OH, he laments how many plain and ugly men there are around. Is he perhaps a member of the Lavender Society? Because holy crap.

So excited to find another LibriVox recording! And by Karen Savage again too! This one is nine and a half hours long, and I admit I know almost nothing about this book, save a lot of waxing poetic about the lead couple. I'm so ready to get started!
