bint al-kutub > Status Update

I read a big chunk of the book and I can’t lie I was engulfed at first, but I’ve dropped after a bit and not finishing it as the story is a bit too cliché. I wish it wasn’t about a Muslim girl falling for a non-Muslim guy but it is and the rest is very predictable. I’m sure Saba Syed had good intentions and I know she brings it back to deen > dunya but why is it always the white guy that has to save us.😴
