This book took me through so many different emotions. I felt sad, I laughed, I wanted to take some of these girls out of their horrible home lives and give them shelter, and I began to think about my own childhood and wether or not I had the same experiences as these girls in their journey from childhood to adulthood. I feel very thankful for the women who did this study .

Neeti is caught in a paradox between wanting relationship and feeling that in order to have relationships she must muffle or but yet voice.
