I've long thought that I'd never experience the same level of uncanny frisson I feel while reading Ligotti with any other author, but damn does Mr. Clark seem intent on proving me wrong. The hundreds of nightmare-inducing illustrations (also by Clark) only enhances the otherworldliness.

No, I've already read In Delirium's Circle and the 2015 Swan River Press reissue/re-edit of The Satyr that also includes the Bestiary of Communion collection. I really enjoyed everything, but so far I think this is on another level. Too bad I'll be about out of new Stephen J. Clark to read after this. BTW your reviews of his work definitely played a role in getting me to check him out, so thanks.
