I've had to take a break from this one. I kinda skipped to the end and the heaviness of the final book, after only reading a small part, put me in tears. Had to step back from this for just a while.

Poor Elizabeth and Christian. To have something so devastating to happen to them. I really wish this story had gone a different direction. These two just got back together at the end of Take This Regret, and so soon after, they're already falling apart and separated. And I can't help but feel it's all because of Elizabeth. She's not my favorite character at this time.

I read the first two books in this series probably 1.5 years ago. Picked up the box set and starting from the beginning to get a little refresher.
