The horror parts are very well done and super scary. Love the chase scenes! There are some references to sexual relationships between the characters that read like a cheap drug store novel. I'm no prude but these parts as well as some of the dialog between characters are so poorly written and out of place....it really takes my opinion of the book down a few notches.
