I had to skip to the end of slow burn... I did not like it at all

I just can't finish Slow Burn. It's hard to focus on a romance when every despicable act known to man is being thrust in your face. There's sexual abuse of a child, drug abuse, and a host of other none romantic acts that make this book my least favorite of any story I've ever read... If slow burn had been the first in the collection of 10, I would have assumed the entire book was terrible and returned it.

I'm not feeling the second story, "Fierce," but I'm hoping it will pick up.

The first story "His Wicked Games," was very cute. Very playful and erotic, like a dirty interpretation of beauty and the beast just like the synopsis suggested.
