I lowered my eyes from the young man's face and saw what he was looking at. We were still surrounded by ravens on the hillside, but there were many, many more of them than I remembered being there when I had walked up the hill.

I'd thought I could keep him at arm's length during my stay, but now I realized I'd been foolish to think so.
So, yes, I would sleep in his room. And I would have wonderful, heartbreaking sex with the man I know knew I'd never stopped loving.
