Dying is the toned down YA memory versus being burned with cigarettes?

awkward time jumps / foremost expert in the country is an unnecessary and credibility jarring word choice

It's a bit distracting to hear Aaron lament things that have been going on "for Years" when his attack occurred only two years ago. A different wording would have been more keeping in the flow.

Not sure WHY the code examples are more elaborate in the YA version than in the Adult version

both versions have some rough jump cuts in the timeline that could have been transitioned much easier with just a few word changes.

Expletives eliminated and/or softened in this version. For me this works much better from Aaron's wounded childlike persona
