I like that this is told from the male perspective, but the narrator sounds like a cross between Walter Cronkite and Edward R Murrow. The words are clipped and precise like bullets being spit out. The voice would totally fit an old school spy novel or thriller, but for a romance, it just feels... off. And the women sound so... ugh. Really regretting getting this in audio format. :(
