Dave Hunts failure to say anything meaningful in this chapter is apparent. From his inability/unwillingness to exegete positively passages like Acts 13:48 to falling back on the "God foreknew" escape hatch already addressed by White several times throughout the book, it is apparent that Dave Hunt is out of his intellectual depth in the material he is dealing with. Like a PT boat going up against a battleship.

In this chapter, we see a familiar pattern. Dave Hunt argues the same arguments he has already made elsewhere repeatedly in this book, while White addresses a specific section of argumentation. One wonders whether it would have been more efficient for Dave Hunt to write one large section where he lays out all his arguments, and for White to respond point for point, rather than Hunt wasting the paper he does.

Dave Hunt comes off as a raving crazed desert prophet in this chapter “Calvin and Augustine: Two Jonah’s who sink the ship”
He is like the rabid dog so obsessed with chewing his old disintegrating bone that he risks biting the hand of his very Master in order to keep it.

Mr. Dave Hunt really messes up in this chapter. He asserts that "There is no action of foreknowing." (Pg. 166) in reference to Romans 829. James White correctly points out that the term Paul uses, προεγνω, to foreknow, is an Aorist Active Indicative, 3 person Singular with God as the subject.
