I do want to read this book completely. I am interested in the subject matter.
BUT I struggle through sentences full of big words with complex meanings, words with multiple meanings or words which have changed usage over time.
Somewhere in that struggle I lose connection with the subject matter itself.
An academic dissertation, not a book for an interested non-academic.
Soon will be in my 'abandoned' book list
