Individual identity is truly a dialogue (not fixed) because a person thinks of himself as the result of learning the language of the community so that he can belong in that community (58) -- identity therefore requires recognition.

Ethics becomes a function of feeling. Right or wrong is not about the consequences of those decisions but purely about feeling (79).
