This book is so beautiful. I’ve been wanting to buy it since it came out, and finally did. I have loved India for a long time, at least since I was 18, as my first roommate at uni was from Jamshedpur; but I think I’ve dreamed of it even before then. One of my favourite classes at uni was Islamic architecture, so I’m thrilled that Rajasthan is full of a hybrid of styles with Mughal influence.
