Well this is certainly better written than a bunch of the other gothics I read recently. Reading the description of a mutilated dead cat the heroine finds made me cringe a little but I knew it was coming. With that said I'm on page 24 and she just now made it to the village and started having dialogue with people other than herself which for me is a little draggier than I like with my pulp gothics, but we'll see!

I haven't had a lot of time to read the past couple of days, but so far I'm not all that into this one. It's not bad, though. Hopefully I'll have more time tonight or tomorrow to get through it. :)

A Dean Koontz Gothic! I've been trying to get one of these treasures for a long time. I read a Dean Koontz book years ago that terrified me so I'm hoping this one is super good and creepy.
