Finished book 1 (3.5 ⭐️) and likely wouldn’t have read more by this author had I not bought the 3 book set. The writing was engaging but the story was so implausible. Hopefully the stories improve in the future books

It’s frustrating because the characters all tend to be shallow, argumentative, and flighty. The author writes well enough to peak my curiosity but then simply manages to irritate me as I read. 😕
