The author tells us that loving the wrong person is self harm I think it’s because that person can hurt you. Some of us have fear of not being good enough and it makes us miserable explains the author.

The author explains how they feel empty after sharing themselves to people who act as if you told them nothing. Then says that for anyone who stresses you out or plan on it they will fall beneath us.

When you feel pain it means you’re living and when you look at your scars it means you survived. Your soulmate can be yourself and everything you wish for in a person can be found in yourself the author explains.

“There is still magic in a heart that’s been broken” says the author which is true because a lot of people grow after being broken.the author then says that livening someone doesn’t make them your soulmate it doesn’t mean they’re the one.

The author implies that it’s okay to not be strong always bc sometime the world can be too much for a person. Then also says the mind knows stuff that the heart is blinded by.

The author is implying that they notice that their peers only smile to hide things and don’t know when their smile was actual happiness. The book explains how sleep for most of us is no longer a way for us to get rest but kind of an escape from this reality we live in.

The author says to stop leaving the door open to someone who left because they don’t deserve the key. Then the author says that you only miss the person he used to be and you need to let them go.
