I’m HALFWAY THROUGH the book and all I get for now is a hugely overwritten boring blob of a plot with boring grey characters in a boring grey time. No gay romance, no gay subplot I could care about. I don’t give a rat’s ass about an alcoholic mother or a teenage daughter impregnated by an older man. Give me my gays for goodness sake!
