The book explains the way of bushido, which is the code of moral principals that knights follow and observe. I have two things that stood out to me. Chapters “Rectitude and Justice” and the courage chapter. In Rectitude, it explains that it is the decision made at the right time “to die when it is right to die. And in the courage chapter they make small cuts and bruises seem small so pain is nothing to soilders
